Hailing from Hereford, Polly is a MMus Orchestral Performance graduate from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD). She completed her bassoon studies with Welsh National Opera’s Stephen Marsden and BBC National Orchestral of Wales’ Martin Bowen.

 

Polly completed her BMus undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds studying with Opera North’s David Baker. As part of the BMus programme, she spent her third year studying at the University of North Texas under the instruction of Professor Kathleen Reynolds.

 

Since graduating from the RWCMD Polly has accepted a job as a trainee instrument repair technician at Double Reed Limited. As well as this she also freelances around South Wales.
